Intergroup’s Structure

  1. All A.A. Groups in Western Kentucky are encouraged to name an Intergroup Representative to express their group’s view points and desires at the quarterly Intergroup meetings. ¬†Financial support of the Intergroup is purely voluntary and is not required from any group to have a representative and a vote.
  2. At the December meeting year, the Intergroup elects a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Chairpersons fo P.I., C.P.C., Corrections and Treatment Facilities and Committees.
  3. The Intergroup Representatives authorize the Officers and Committee Chairpersons to interview and appoint an Intergroup Manager/Coordinator who is an A.A. member with at least two years of continuous sobriety.

By choosing its most qualified man or woman as IGR, a group helps secure its own future – and the future of A.A. as a whole.
